About the PieceThis piece was inspired by the title and first lines of one of my favorite Emily Dickinson poems. Although Dickinson's poem isn't about a fairy queen, a flying throne, flying towers, a castle and dragons the sense of fantasy and escapism the poem presents is quite magical. The way the words flow, as they beckon you to follow them into to place of enchantment has always appealed to the romantic in me.
